Where to look for courses in Ceuta

In Ceuta, coaching courses are run by the Real Federación de Fútbol de Ceuta (RFFCE), with its registered office at Paseo del Revellín, 21 - 1º and its Ciudad del Fútbol — where the courses are taught — on Avenida de África. Its federation offer centres on UEFA C — with UEFA B and futsal editions (Nacional C and B) depending on the call — and includes neither UEFA A nor UEFA Pro.

The RFFCE processes enrolments through academia.rfef.es, the RFEF national platform. Calls are announced on the federation website and in the local press, with both summer and winter editions — the latest winter one started in January 2026. RFFCE courses and enrolment

The RFFCE school opens its courses every season with this profile:
  • UEFA C every season — the latest winter edition (January-June 2026) came out at €300, with €150 at enrolment — plus UEFA B and futsal editions (Nacional C and B) depending on the call, with weekly evening classes.
  • Price reference (2025/26 call): €300 for the C level and €600 for the B level, with a 20% general discount and up to 80% off for women coaches — one of the most aggressive discount policies in Spain. Confirm the current call's prices and discounts in its announcement.
  • No UEFA A: for that level (or the Nacional Experto) you need a mainland federation.

Each edition's specific deadlines appear in the notices at the top of this guide when open, as well as on each course listing at academia.rfef.es. If you do not have a club yet, first check how the club requirement for placements works, and for the step-by-step process, how to enrol in a coaching course.

Minimum qualification per category

Ceuta sets its requirements per modality — unique among territorial federations — in its three 2026/27 Competition Rules (July 2026): in 7-a-side football, where prebenjamín, benjamín and alevín play, UEFA C is mandatory in every category from the first match; in 11-a-side the requirement starts at infantil (UEFA C) and rises to UEFA B in cadete, juvenil and Regional Preferente; and in futsal the Nacional scale applies (C from debutants, B in cadete and juvenil).

The sanction is double and explicit: sitting on the bench without the required qualification — or lending your licence — is punished with 4 to 20 matches or 1 to 6 months of suspension; and if an obliged team turns up without a coach, the club faces progressive fines from €150 to €600 up to exclusion from the competition. UEFA licences must be current, with the National School's 15-hour refresher certificate.

The fitness coach needs UEFA C plus a Sports Science degree, and the goalkeeping coach, the specialist Nacional C. To compare with the academic route: TD Level 1 equals UEFA B (TD Level 2 = UEFA A; TD Superior = UEFA Pro), per Article 167 bis of the RFEF Regulations — detail in Sports Technician vs UEFA licence.

Sports Technician and grants in Ceuta

No centre in Ceuta teaches the Sports Technician in Football: the official list of the city's nine vocational centres includes no sports education (the closest thing is the TAFAD at IES Clara Campoamor, which does not qualify you as a coach). The academic route runs through the mainland — Andalusia as the natural option — or distance-learning centres, and without a local public centre the general Ministry grant does not apply to this training either.

As for aid, the precedent is strong: the RFFCE's 2025/26 call included discounts of up to 80% for women coaches and 20% overall — check the current call's announcement to see if they hold. The federation also runs a programme of grants for active coaches (a subsidy for those already coaching, distinct from a tuition discount). All funding options are covered in grants and scholarships for the coaching course.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the coaching course cost in Ceuta?

The most recent reference is RFFCE's 2025/26 call: €300 for the C level (UEFA C / Nacional C) and €600 for the B level (UEFA B / Nacional B), with a 20% general discount and up to 80% off for women coaches. The RFFCE has opened both summer and winter editions — the latest winter one (January-June 2026) held the C level at €300 — and each announcement sets its final prices — current notices appear at the top of this guide and enrolment goes through academia.rfef.es.

Which licence do I need to coach in Ceuta?

It depends on the modality: in 7-a-side football (from prebenjamín up to alevín) UEFA C is mandatory in every category; in 11-a-side UEFA C is required from infantil and UEFA B in cadete, juvenil and Regional Preferente; and in futsal, Nacional C from debutants and Nacional B in cadete and juvenil. Sitting on the bench without the qualification carries a 4-20 match or 1-6 month suspension, and the club faces €150-€600 fines for competing without a coach.

Is there a UEFA A course in Ceuta?

No: the Ceuta federation offer reaches UEFA B (plus Futsal Nacional B). For UEFA A, the Nacional Experto or UEFA Pro you need a mainland federation — Andalusia is the natural neighbour, and enrolment with any federation runs through academia.rfef.es anyway. This is consistent with the local pyramid, which tops out at Regional Preferente, where UEFA B suffices.

Can you study the Sports Technician in Football in Ceuta?

No: none of the city's nine vocational centres teaches football sports education — the closest thing is the TAFAD at IES Clara Campoamor, which is not the coaching qualification. The real options are the local federation route (UEFA C and B with the RFFCE) or taking the Sports Technician on the mainland or by distance learning. Remember the equivalence: TD Level 1 = UEFA B, TD Level 2 = UEFA A (Article 167 bis of the RFEF Regulations).

Are there discounts or grants for the coaching course in Ceuta?

The 2025/26 precedent is among the best in Spain: a 20% general discount and up to 80% off for women coaches on the €300/€600 C and B levels. Check the current call's announcement to see if they hold. The RFFCE also manages a grant programme for active coaches (a subsidy for those already coaching). With no public Sports Technician centre in the city, the general Ministry grant does not apply to this training in Ceuta.
