Who is this assistant for?
Anyone in Spain considering coaching football and unsure which course to take first. It is especially useful if you have heard about UEFA C and Sports Technician and cannot tell which fits your situation, or if you are starting from scratch and don't know whether your academic background lets you enrol.
What does the assistant return?
One of three pathways: UEFA C (federation, fastest entry to grassroots), Sports Technician (academic, slower but with an official vocational title), or the full federation pathway (UEFA C → B → A → Pro for those aiming at elite football). Each result includes a short rationale and links to the relevant RutaMister pages.
What if I don't have the ESO?
The ESO certificate (or equivalent) is the legal floor for both routes. The assistant flags this and links to the access requirements page. Without ESO, you need to obtain it (or a recognised equivalent) before any official coaching course.
What if I have studies from another country?
There is a dedicated branch for international applicants. If you studied abroad, you usually need a certificate of equivalence from the Spanish Ministry of Education before enrolling. RutaMister has a dedicated international access guide linked from the result.
Does the recommendation commit me to anything?
No. The assistant is an orientation tool. It doesn't enrol you anywhere, doesn't store your answers and doesn't share data with federations. The actual enrolment always happens on the federation or academic centre's official channel.
How is the recommendation calculated?
Two questions: academic situation (ESO yes / no / foreign studies) and main goal (grassroots, professional career, official vocational title). The combinations map to the three official pathways. The logic is intentionally simple — there are only three real entry points to coaching in Spain.
