The controller of rutamister.com, Dreamsite, S.L. (Spanish tax ID B82940719), only activates analytical cookies with your explicit consent. Without consent no measurement or third-party cookies are loaded.

  • No advertising: no first-party or third-party advertising cookies.
  • Revoke any time: change your decision via the banner or by clearing cookies in your browser.

What cookies are and who is responsible

Cookies are small text files (or equivalent storage entries, such as items in localStorage) that a website installs in your browser to remember information about your visit. Applicable law in Spain: LSSI-CE (Act 34/2002), the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the LOPDGDD (Organic Act 3/2018).

The site rutamister.com is owned by Dreamsite, S.L., Spanish tax ID B82940719, registered at Calle Ramón y Cajal 5, 28100 Alcobendas, Madrid. Inquiries and rights requests: consultas@rutamister.com.

If you consider the cookie processing does not comply with the GDPR or the LSSI-CE, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, or through its electronic office at www.aepd.es. We kindly ask you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the case directly.

Cookies used on RutaMister

RutaMister keeps cookie use to a minimum. We only set a technical entry to remember your banner preference and, with your consent, the measurement cookies of Google Analytics 4. We do not use first-party or third-party advertising cookies.

Note: rutamister_cookie_consent is not technically an HTTP cookie but a localStorage entry. We list it in the table for transparency, since it is subject to the same legal regime as strictly necessary cookies (Article 22.2 LSSI-CE) under the AEPD Cookies Guide.

Legal basis and consent management

The technical cookie rutamister_cookie_consent is exempt from consent under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE, as it is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has expressly requested (remembering the banner choice).

Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_3KCB6JXEHC) are analytical cookies and are only activated with your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22.2 LSSI-CE). We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with default value denied: until you accept in the banner, Google receives no identifiable analytics data; if you reject, no cookies are loaded.

The consent record, date and origin are evidenced locally and via the data Google Consent Mode sends to the GA4 server.

International transfers

Analytical cookies involve processing by Google Ireland Limited, registered at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may subprocess data through Google LLC in the United States, in which case the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

If you reject analytical cookies, no international transfer takes place.

Frequently asked questions

Is it mandatory to accept cookies to browse RutaMister?

No. You can browse the entire site rejecting analytical cookies in the banner. All content — guides, comparisons, federations, blog — is accessible without consent. The only consequence is that your visit will not be recorded in Google Analytics 4 statistics.

Which cookies are technical and which require my consent?

The only technical cookie is rutamister_cookie_consent, stored in localStorage, which remembers your banner choice and is exempt from consent under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE. The _ga and _ga_3KCB6JXEHC cookies are analytical (Google Analytics 4) and only activate if you accept in the banner.

How do I withdraw cookie consent after granting it?

You can withdraw it at any time by (a) clicking the Manage cookies link in the footer of the cookie policy to reopen the banner and choose again, or (b) clearing the cookies and site data in your browser settings. You can also disable Google Analytics globally with the official opt-out add-on.

Do RutaMister cookies identify me by name or email?

No. Analytical cookies contain no name, no email, no data that identifies you directly. They identify the device or browser in a pseudonymised way for statistical purposes. RutaMister does not cross-reference analytics data with any other source to re-identify you.

Are there international transfers from using Google Analytics?

Yes, conditional on consent. Google Ireland Limited (EU) may subprocess data through Google LLC in the United States. The transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). If you reject the banner, no transfer takes place.

Where can I read the full privacy policy?

On the Privacy Policy page, accessible from the footer of any page on the site. It details the controller (Dreamsite, S.L.), what data is processed, the legal basis of each processing activity, retention periods, processors, international transfers and how to exercise your rights with the controller or with the Spanish AEPD.
