Minimum qualification per category
Minimum qualification per competition according to the Navarrese Coaches' Committee chart (Circular no. 2). The quick rule: UEFA B covers all territorial senior football (Primera Autonómica included), youth up to Liga Nacional and the top territorial women's divisions; UEFA C is enough in the Juegos Deportivos (cadete and infantil) and all Fútbol 8; and UEFA A is required in Tercera Federación and División de Honor Juvenil. Since the 2025/26 season, the FNF General Rules also require every territorial-category team to register a qualified coach (art. 58), with two weeks to fill a bench vacancy (art. 60).
The chart also covers the rest of the technical staff: the fitness coach needs a CAFD degree plus a football specialisation or UEFA B (UEFA C in territorial categories), and the goalkeeping coach, the RFEF specialist diploma.
If you want an academic qualification with MEC grant access (at public centres), consider the Sports Technician: longer and more expensive, but it grants an official Ministry title.
