Football coach course in Castilla-La Mancha

In Castilla-La Mancha, coaching courses are run by the FFCM - Federación de Fútbol de Castilla-La Mancha, based in Cuenca. Unlike a single-province region, the FFCM covers five provinces (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo) and publishes the exact venue in each coaching call: the 2026/27 edition of UEFA C and UEFA B runs in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real).

The FFCM processes UEFA enrolments through academia.rfef.es, the RFEF national platform. To confirm current contact and website check the RutaMister federations page. The RFEF centralises the UEFA licence process, and for the academic Sports Technician route the CSD lists the authorised centres.

Pre-registration deadlines change with every edition: the current ones appear in the notices at the top of this guide and on each course listing at academia.rfef.es. Before paying, confirm the total cost, exact venue and the club requirement for placements on the official listing. Usual paperwork: ID, previous qualification, medical certificate, photo and proof of payment. Minimum qualification under the FFCM Structure and Internal Operation Regulations (2025 edition, arts. 62 and 66). The quick rule: UEFA A is mandatory in the two top senior tiers (1ª División Autonómica Preferente and 1ª División Autonómica); below that, UEFA C is enough in 2ª Autonómica, the regional women's league and all youth and below — the most accessible bar among the federations we have verified. In addition, every federated team must have a coach with a valid UEFA licence, present on the bench except for force majeure (art. 66.1).

Also from the Regulations: assistants need a qualification equal to or at most one level below the category's — as a general rule, at least Level 1/Basic (art. 66.2); a coach vacancy must be filled within two weeks (art. 67); the trainee coach works alongside a qualified coach for the category (art. 62.5); and clubs newly promoted to the two UEFA A tiers may keep their coach if the contract was registered before 31 August.

If you want an academic qualification with MEC grant access (at public centres), consider the Sports Technician: longer and more expensive, but it grants an official Ministry title.
