International Access Guide

Steps to validate studies obtained outside of Spain

Requirements and Procedures

To coach in Spain you need to validate both your academic and sports studies.

1. Ministry of Education

To enroll in the course you need your previous studies (Secondary/High School) to be valid in Spain.

  • Mandatory Homologation: You must process the equivalence of your foreign titles with the Ministry.
  • Procedure available at the Electronic Office.

What is Conditional Enrollment?

Schools allow you to start the course by presenting only the application receipt for homologation.

2. RFEF (Sports Procedure)

If you are already a coach in your country and want to coach in Spain, you need the Recognition of Competencies (RoC).

  • Managed by the RFEF Quality Commission.
  • Required to obtain the equivalent UEFA License.
